The Bloviating Orange Elf is retreating
Into the embrace of his base
There it’s warm and cozy
A very agreeable place
Problem is that the base
Has an upper limit
Only so many voters are persuadable
By childish rhetoric
At least let’s hope that’s the case
If the Elf’s approach appeals to a majority
We are headed for last place
