Took a trip to Jamestown

Asked where the Pilgrims were

Was told in another town

Up in Massachusetts

The Pilgrims landed there

Not in a Virginia swamp

With skeeters, possums, and the occasional bear

Also the Pilgrims

Didn’t traffic in human beings

Unlike Virginians for whom

Certain humans were just things

When asked to compare

The Pilgrims and Jamestown

The Odious Orange Outrage said
