REPUBLICAN SHUTDOWN

 

Several months ago
Congress and the President were agreeing
On some budgetary matters
Primarily an increase in the debt ceiling
Now MAGA Republicans are reneging
Threatening a government closing
 
The Orange Huckster has chimed in
Telling the extremists MAGAs
“Unless you get everything, shut it down”
Apparently meaning the whole darn town
 
The Huckster seems to believe
A closure of the government
Would cause a significant economic decline
And help his presidential aspirations shine
