Are countering the charges against him
By characterizing his actions
As aspirational
And thus supposedly not criminal
 
Not criminal?
He aspired to steal a lost election
He aspired to violate the Constitution
He aspired to criminal obstruction
He aspired to character defamation
 
Aspiration indicates a strong desire
But at some point it morphs
Into excessive desire
The Huckster’s passage to excessive
Long ago became a legal quagmire
