At their collective foot
Will they pull the trigger
And render that appendage caput?
 
Progressives versus moderates
They can’t seem to agree
On how much spending
Is required for political ecstasy
 
The Republican Party is
In danger of disintegrating
Do Democrats really want
To play copycatting?
 
Why can’t the Dems
Sit back and relax
While the GOP
Goes off the tracks?
