STOP TEACHING KIDS TO READ

 

Activist parents are in a dither
To keep their kids
From thought-provoking stuff
They want to treat
School libraries pretty rough
 
Why not go
To the source of the problem?
Kids wouldn’t be exposed
To disturbing literature
If the teaching of reading
Was brought to closure
