The Virginia race may turn
On the power of local whackos
The ones who scream and yell
At school boards and liberal TV shows
 
McAuliffe brought in surrogates
Unfortunately they were Democrats
Who since the Afghanistan debacle
Have been losing the public’s confidence
 
As inept as he was
Youngkin was largely his own man
Relying on little overt help
From an out-of-state caravan
 
So down to the wire it is
No predictions here
Other than we’ll all
Need a strong beer
