Every now and then
America makes a mistake
One occurred in 2016
When it elected the Orange Snake
 
Much of the population
Now realizes its error
The Republican Party, however
Is quivering in terror
 
Afraid to rouse
The Snake’s ire
Accepting his lies
Hoping to avoid
His line of fire
